Not much to report today, largely because I didn’t get to go to the hospital at all today. π I had my procedure this morning and then came back to RM House to recuperate / sleep off the anesthesia. I’m still a little groggy, but otherwise okay.
Mandy spent the day in the NICU with Leah, and reports that she is just over 4 lbs 7 oz today. She is now getting all of her food via “bolus feeding,” which means that she feeds every three hours and when she feeds she gets all of the food at once instead of having it spread out over a period of time (yesterday she was getting her food over half an hour).
Still a little loopy so I’ll get right to the pictures!

Hope you are feeling better and the procedure was a success! Isn’t Mom guilt the GREATEST?….=).
Thank you! YES – I haven’t seen the little one in over 24 hours and I’m going CRAZY!
I am so glad the procedure is over for you Lisa. I look forward to hearing about how its helped!!!!! Good Leahbug for gaining weight and coping with the advancement in feeding technique. I am a proud friend!!! XO Oh and a reminder to start saving for college…Today is end of Pathways Program celebration day at UCLA!
Thanks Jess! I’m glad it’s over too and look forward to any improvement at all *fingers crossed*. Have tons of fun today! So the program is over after this? We’ll have to start saving now – little Leah will have Bruin pride from the very beginning. π
Yes she will! Wes did the one year Program. He was invited back to merge into the 2nd year program but we opted to have him back home and explore some local options ; )
That cross-eyed picture is just BEGGING to be a meme. I swear, I make that face reading comments threads at least 4-5 times a day.
“Salvation Army spokesperson said WHAT?”
So happy she’s gaining weight and growing stronger. Can’t wait to see her in person.
